- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 20 golden oreos, about 1/2 package
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 4 tbsp strawberry jello gelatin, remaining
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp strawberry jello gelatin
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8 x 8 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
- Prepare the brownie layer by mixing strawberry cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and strawberry gelatin in a large bowl.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
- For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese, softened butter, and vanilla until smooth. Incorporate powdered sugar and heavy whipping cream until fluffy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Using a food processor, pulse Oreos until they are coarsely chopped, leaving some larger chunks.
- Combine the cookie crumbs with remaining strawberry gelatin and melted butter, pulsing until mixed.
- Sprinkle and press the Oreo cookie crumb mixture over the cheesecake layer.
Notes
Ensure the brownies are completely cooled before adding the cheesecake layer to prevent melting.
For best results, chill the brownies before serving to enhance the flavors and texture.
Feel free to adjust the amount of strawberry gelatin for a stronger flavor.
